Change an AI App by Chat: Editing Your Build | LLMinONE

How do I edit an AI-generated app afterwards?

Right inside the chat window: once your app is built, the chat stays open, and every new message refers to the current state of your build. Just write what should change — for example "change the design to dark mode" or "add an export button". The AI applies surgical edits: it patches exactly the affected places instead of reinventing the app, and every step stays reversible.

One limitation exists: direct edits are a member feature. As a guest your 10 free builds per day stay yours, and when you ask for an edit, the AI shows you the way to a free account — right after that it applies your change immediately.

What the status line tells you

During a build you see the four stages Sending, Thinking, Writing the app and Saving as a step list: finished steps carry a check mark, the active one a dot, and pending ones stay grey. The status line also shows how much code has been written so far — in bytes, growing live. That way you always know where the engine stands, even with larger apps.

Why repeat wishes answer instantly

Send the same wish a second time and the hot cache answers: the finished result is buffered and comes back almost instantly instead of being generated again. Identical requests cost almost no waiting time — handy for experimenting when you want to open the same app variant twice.

When the engine is busy

LLMinONE builds one app per user at a time. If a second request arrives while a build is running, the app waits silently for up to 30 seconds and retries on its own — you never see an error. If the engine stays busy, your message returns to the input box, and a single press of Enter tries again.

Every start wish gets its own session

The composer on the start screen always begins fresh: every wish sent there starts its own chat window, project and session — no history, no context and no files from the previous build. That way two projects never mix. Inside an open window, New app starts another build within the same chat; the history stays visible.
